Trade between players

Companies trade goods with each other through lots at town markets. The node region board opens them. Money never moves between companies in any other way.

A sell lot offers a fixed amount of a good at a fixed price.

  1. Your vehicle unloads the good at a town market into your lot store there. Goods in the lot store are not sold to the town.
  2. You post the lot in the Trade view: the good, the kg, the price per kg and how long it stands, 1 to 7 days.
  3. Another company buys the whole lot. There are no partial sales.
  4. Its vehicle loads the lot at that market. It has 7 days to collect.

The form states the total before you post, as in "60,000 kg at €0.140/kg, €8,400 in total".

A wanted lot is the other side: you say what you need and pay ahead.

  1. You post the good, the kg and the price at a town market. The market holds your money.
  2. A company that has the kg in its lot store at that market delivers with one click.
  3. The goods wait in your store at that market, and your vehicle collects them.

You can take an open wanted lot back. Your money returns at your next settlement, as it does when the lot expires.

Rule Value
Price 50% to 150% of the region average of the good
Fee 3% of the value, paid by the seller, 2% with the node broker
Open lots 5 per company at each market
Collecting within 7 days. What nobody collects is lost.
  • The proceeds of a lot reach you at your next settlement.
  • Proceeds are income and no revenue: they earn no research points.
  • A cancelled or expired sell lot returns to your lot store, where your vehicle can load it again.

A lot sells a good for more than a harbor pays and less than the buyer would pay elsewhere. It pays off when another company needs an input it does not make: grain for a mill, logs for a sawmill, an import far from its harbor.

There is no chat, no gift and no loan between players. Nothing a company does can take money or goods from another one.
