Cargo Companies wiki
Cargo Companies is a multiplayer logistics game on the real map of Germany. You build sites, buy vehicles and run routes over real roads. Every town is a market whose price falls with each load that arrives, yours and everyone else's. One clock runs for all players, at real speed.
This wiki explains each part of the game on one page. Every number on it is read from the game itself, so it is the number you play with.
The game in six stops
Section titled The game in six stops- 1
Build a siteA farm grows grain around the clock and stores it until a vehicle loads it. - 2
Buy a vehicleA pickup carries 2.0 t. Larger vehicles carry more per trip and cost more to keep. - 3
Set a routeA route is a list of stops: load here, sell there. The vehicle drives it again and again, also while you are away. - 4
Sell at a marketA town pays more while its stock is low. Each sale fills it and lowers the price for every company. - 5
Close the dayOnce a day the settlement books upkeep, wages and rent. What is left is the result of your day. - 6
ResearchRevenue earns research points. Each node of the tree opens new sites, vehicles, goods or markets.
What sets the game apart
Section titled What sets the game apart- Real roads, real time. A trip takes as long as the drive takes. Hamburg to Munich is a night's work for a truck. See Routes and trips.
- Shared prices. All companies of a region sell into the same towns, so the best price is always somewhere else. See Markets and prices.
- Fuller is better. A vehicle waits until it is full before it leaves. Growth means larger loads, not more clicks.
- Nothing is for sale. No part of the game is bought with real money, and no timer is skipped. See Other players.
